Here I am again - and there is much new to report.
long time it was quiet on this blog - is not to say I've lost passion for patchwork and quilting. No, not at all. The last few months, I simply had too little time. But still enough time to pursue from time to time with my quilt Rosi our common experience.
results were seen last weekend in Linz, where the festival of Patchwork Quilt Austria took place. A really great successful event with 400 quilts exhibited, interesting workshops and a shop miles enjoyed many, many Visitors, including my girlfriend Lucy and me. I was represented this year with no own quilt in the show, but two friends presented three of her blankets with my quilt signature. What pleases me most: in the category "Audience Favorite-Traditional" my friend Renate won with her quilt "Takakos Treasures" won third prize. Renate's text message from the draw ... 'our' Japan has the third Price made ". The joy was enormous. Yes, a small contribution to this profit could afford me. A look at this beauty:
